Obvious parallels with developing nuclear weapons in the forties. I guess one argument is now, if you don't do it, someone else will, but are there AI researchers who actually believe at this point that this is good for humanity.<p>Because I don't see it. I'll take all the diseases and crt monitors for whatever advances AI is promising at this point.
