I learned to program mostly by tutorials. I did what they told me and it all seemed to be straightforward. But when I started up the editor and tried to build something without the tutorial, I often found I didn't understand the logic as well as I thought I did.<p>I’m starting to think the tutorials are good to get you started on a project, but the real shortcomings become apparent during the building phase.<p>Why did you stop using tutorials? What did you do instead?
