这是一个严肃的问题。
我有一台较旧的 Mac，上面有一些关键应用程序运行着一个略微过时的 macOS。这个操作系统版本不再支持 Edge 和 Chrome 151+。
但这并没有阻止 Edge 自动更新到一个已知不兼容的版本，导致其无法使用。
前一分钟我还在使用浏览器；下一分钟，图标上就出现了《捉鬼敢死队》的标志，并且我除了看到一个解释我的操作系统不受支持的对话框之外，什么也做不了。
也许一次是偶然，但这已经是我第三次遇到各种微软应用程序自行“变砖”的情况了。

This is a serious question.<p>I've an older Mac with some critical apps that runs a slightly obsolete macOS. This OS version is no longer supported by Edge and Chrome 151+.<p>This did not stop Edge from auto-updating to a known incompatible version and bricking itself.<p>One minute I had the browser open; the next, the icon was overlayed with the Ghostbusters symbol and could do nothing but display a dialog explaining that my OS is unsupported.<p>A fluke once perhaps, but this is the third time this has happened to me with various MS apps bricking themselves.<p>I'm officially done with Microsoft products. This isn't some annoying bug; this is suddenly and abruptly locking me out of my own computer.
