As you may know, MacBooks are expensive and an SSD killed by excessive writes due to software bug(s) requires a complete motherboard replacement.<p>So why not have a utility that would warn you when an app is writing too much? Maybe you could specify a threshold for the warning.<p>Would you use a utility like that to give you peace of mind, especially with MacBooks?
