大家好，
我正试图在我学校提供的一部旧智能手机上刷入一个新的操作系统。我已经使用 ADB 移除了预装的 MDM 软件，所以准备工作就绪，但遇到了一些问题。
我想使用更高版本的 Android（目前是 Android 12）。我的设备完全符合 VNDK 标准并支持 Project Treble。由于我的设备没有专门的定制 ROM，我需要使用 GSI（通用系统镜像）。我找到了一款 GSI（CrDroid GSI），理论上应该能完美运行。根据 AOSP 和 Project Treble 的说法，任何 Android 版本都应该能在我的设备上运行，即使系统供应商仍然是 Android 12。
但实际上，你只能升级大约两个版本，之后就会开始出现问题。我想使用 Android 15，但目前还不行。我也问过几个 AI，它们都只是说“接受现实吧”。虽然没错，但有没有什么变通的方法呢？（如果你想知道 GSI 是如何做到这一点的，我很乐意在评论中解释）

I'm trying to Flash a new OS onto my old smartphone that was provided by my college.. I removed the MDM softwares that come pre installed using adb so im good to go but there are some problems im facing ,<p>I want to use a higher android version (currently on android 12) , my device is fully VNDK compliant and supports project treble. Since there is no actual custom ROM for my specific device i need to use GSIs (generic suystem images) I found one GSI (CrDroid GSI) that should work fully.. According to AOSP and project treble any version of android should work on my device even if the system vendor is stuck with android 12.
But practically you can only go like 2 versions ahead before things start breaking. i want to use android 15 but its ourt of reach. Ive asked several AIs for this too and they just say "Deal with it" , I mean not wrong but is there any work around?? (If you want to know HOW GSIs does this then im more than happy to explain in comments)<p>Thanks!
