如果一切都在不断进步，那么总有一天，相当一部分任务将不再需要在数据中心完成，也不再受少数前沿人工智能实验室的摆布。
我们离这个目标还有多远？或者我的想法有误吗？

Feels to me like local models are an under-covered aspect of this whole AI boom.<p>If everything improves over time, at some point a good chunk of tasks won’t need to be done in data centers or be subject to the whims of a few frontier AI labs.<p>How close are we to that? Or is my thinking flawed?
