提问 HN：如今就读计算机科学专业是什么体验？

课程发生了哪些变化？教授们会告诉学生们什么，来解释他们所选的课程为什么值得如此严谨地学习？学生们买账吗？课程结束时，实际情况是否与预期相符？从“它已经过时了”到“它比以往任何时候都好”的持续摇摆中，很难真正了解情况。我既为自己的职业生涯感到担忧，也为我的侄子们感到担忧。我该给他们什么建议呢？我这一辈子都在倡导计算机科学作为一种有前途的职业选择。

How has the curriculum changed? What are the professors telling their students to explain why the course they enrolled in deserves the rigorous study? Are the students buying it - and is it matching reality at the end of the course? It’s hard to get a feel from the continuous pendulum swing of “it’s dead” to “it’s better than ever”. As much as I am scared with my own career, I am worried about my nephews’. What advice to give them, when all their life I have advocated for CS as a fulfilling career choice?
