我是一名受过专业训练的医学博士，目前从事临床遗传学工作。<p>与此同时，我断断续续地编程大约五年，并且曾在一家 IT 公司全职担任前端开发人员两年多。<p>尽管现在重返医学领域，我仍然不断地被编程所吸引。我喜欢构建事物、解决技术问题以及编写代码。<p>我正在努力寻找最佳的发展方向。一个选择是离开医学领域，再次全身心投入软件开发。但如果不能以某种方式将我的医学背景与我的技术技能结合起来，感觉有点浪费。<p>我主要对数据分析师的职业道路不感兴趣——如果可能的话，我更倾向于利用我的前端/全栈开发技能。<p>是否存在医学与软件开发有意义地交叉的职业道路？这里有人走过类似的道路吗？

I’m a trained medical doctor currently working in clinical genetics.<p>At the same time, I’ve been programming on and off for about five years and spent over two years working full-time in an IT company as a front-end developer.<p>Despite being back in medicine, I constantly feel drawn back to programming. I enjoy building things, solving technical problems, and working with code.<p>I’m trying to figure out what the best direction forward might be. One option is to leave medicine and go fully into software again. But it feels like a waste not to somehow combine my medical background with my technical skills.<p>I’m not primarily interested in going down the data analyst route — I’d rather leverage my frontend/full-stack development skills if possible.<p>Are there career paths where medicine and software development meaningfully intersect? Has anyone here taken a similar path?
