我换过几家规模较小的公司,但仍然觉得人才匮乏,而且人际关系复杂。尤其是在湾区。我只想专注于使命,好好写代码,但大多数地方的产品、创始人或使命,以及由此产生的员工,似乎都存在缺陷,缺乏良好的激励机制。大多数人只是追逐晋升,而管理者常常利用这一点来营造恶劣的工作环境。长期以来,我一直对这种行为视而不见,最终导致了 burnout,而且我所做的出色工作也未得到认可。
现在,我愿意为了更有意义的工作而接受降薪,非营利组织/开源项目似乎是不错的选择,因为在那里工作的人很可能都与使命相符。开源项目更有可能拥有更高质量的技术。但我不知道该如何进入这个领域。

I have moved to lesser big companies but still found the talent lacking and people make lives hard for others. Especially in the Bay area. I just want to be mission driven and code, but most places the product, founder or mission and hence the people seem flawed without good incentives. Most simply chase promo and managers often take advantage of this to create a bad environment. Ignoring this behavior for long has led me to burnout with no recognition for doing good work.<p>At this point, I'm willing to take a paycut for more fulfilling place and a non-profit/OSS seem good places as only people aligned with mission would be likely working there. OSS has more odds of being higher quality and technical. But I have no idea how to break in.
