问 HN：最近重大安全漏洞是不是变少了？

几年前，我们似乎每隔一天就会看到一起关于重大安全漏洞的新闻。（当然，我是在夸张，但这类新闻确实很常见。）
今天我突然意识到，我已经记不清上次看到类似新闻是什么时候了。
<i>与之前的两年相比，过去（大约）两年里关于重大安全漏洞的新闻报道是否减少了？</i>
我不知道该如何验证这一点——我需要找到一种方法来定义“重大新闻”和“重大安全漏洞”，然后回溯新闻报道——但我很好奇其他人是否也注意到了这一点。
如果不是只有我一个人有这种感觉，那么下一个问题就是为什么。是<i>实际</i>的安全漏洞减少了，还是只是相关报道减少了？

A few years ago, it felt like we had another news story of a major security breech every other day or something. (I'm exaggerating of course but the stories were a regular occurrence.)<p>It occurred to me today that I couldn't remember the last time I'd seen a story like this.<p><i>Have news stories about major security breeches been less common during the (approximately) past two years compared to the two years before that?</i><p>I don't know how I would go about verifying this--I'd have to find a way to classify a "big news story" and "major security breech" and then go back through the news--but I'm wondering if others have noticed it.<p>If it's not just me, the next question would be why. Have <i>actual</i> security breeches gone down, or just reporting on it?
