我对搜索引擎真的能根据我提交的查询返回结果这个说法，已经完全失去了信心。如果这被证实并非如此，我怀疑这是否会让公司面临虚假广告的指控。这不仅仅是结果“好”或“准确”的问题，而是公司虚假承诺运行一个它根本无意运行的查询。

I've lost complete faith in the notion that search engines actually return results for the query I've submitted. If this were ever proven to be so, I wonder if it would open companies up to claims of false advertisement. It wouldn't be a matter of the results being "good" or "accurate", but of the company falsely promising to run a query that it has no intention of running.
