Hi, I am writing this because I am using a Windows 10 PC, and I need advice from a major tech geek about how to manually hack the copyright protection used for content on the Movies & TV feature on Microsoft? I purchased a season of a TV show a while back that I paid $19.99 for & I might lose access to it now because I have to convert to Windows 11 in October & the Microsoft Movies & TV app recently disabled the ability to purchase new content. So, I am concerned I will not be able to access the content I already purchased when I change to Windows 11. I am worried the Movies & TV app will no longer even be compatible. And yes... I know the process of removing DRM violates numerous "anti-piracy" laws with the FBI, subject to fines, possible jail time, being investigated, legal fees, permeant record, etc. Therefore, IF anybody is going to bring the focus of this thread to all those things, then respectfully don't even waste the time/energy to comment. I am aware of the risks I am taking. I collect content all the time with software like StreamFab & apps like Soulseek for my collection for personal use & I DO NOT sell it to anyone or claim it to be my own. Therefore, that is totally legal. There is nothing out there I can find that uses simple terminology and step by step instructions on how to remove Microsoft PlayReady DRM or whatever kind the Movies & TV developers use to protect their content. If there is anybody reading this who can SERIOUSLY help me, please respond or email me. If you do not want to put it in writing, we can always email to start & I can give you my phone number if you feel comfortable and we can talk verbally so it cannot be tracked. And before anybody suggests it, I will not use a Screen Recorder to save the videos because I want them in the quality that I paid for and free of ridiculous watermarks.
