大约在 2018 年前后,我放弃了用了 20 年的 Java。之后我一直在使用 Python 和 Typescript。<p>我认为 Python 近年来取得了巨大的进步……但现在有了 LLM 和基于 Agent 的编程,我觉得 Java 绝对值得再次使用。Python 帮助我们发明了 LLM——如果没有 Python,我们很可能永远无法发明它们。但我的职业生涯一直都专注于系统、后端等等……<p>Java 过于冗长。需要命名的东西太多了。现在,Agent 可以帮我们命名东西了。我觉得现在的冗长绝对是值得的——把这种在 Python 中编写压缩代码的生活抛在脑后。<p>有没有其他人也有这种感觉,或者你们现在已经 Go/Rust/Python 终身了吗?<p>我只想和以前用过 Java 的人讨论这个问题。

I left Java behind after using it for 20 years around 2018 or so. I've been using Python, Typescript since.<p>I think Python has made huge strides in recent times... but now with LLMs and Agentic programming - I feel like Java would absolutely be worth it again. Python helped us invent LLMs - it's quite possible if it didn't exist we would never had invented them. But my life has always been in systems, backends, etc..<p>Java was too verbose. Too many things to NAME. Now, agents can name shit for us. I feel like the verbosity would be absolutely worth it now - and put this compressed code life in Python behind me.<p>Anyone else feel this way, or are you Go/Rust/Python 4 life now?<p>I'm only hoping to discuss this with ex-Java's.
