I’m 23, fresh out of uni, and just landed my first job as an SEO specialist at a small AI startup.
I should be thrilled, right? But here’s the thing my manager basically treats me like I’m invisible. He told me, bluntly:
“If you can’t show real traction for the AI tool we’re launching, maybe this role isn’t for you.”
That hit hard. I know I’m new, but I care. A lot.
So I went all in. I posted about the tool on blogs, submitted it to every AI directory I could find, even tried Reddit, but nothing stuck. No one cared.
Now it feels like this is my last shot to prove I can actually make something take off. That I can do this job. That I’m not just “the SEO intern.”
So I’m asking you, if you think what we’ve built is cool, check it out. Sign up. Share it. Break the server. Shock me. I want to walk into the office and say:
“Yeah, 2,000 people signed up overnight. Still think I’m useless?”
This isn’t just about traffic anymore. It’s personal.
Let’s make Lartist.ai go viral, or at least give me a chance to believe I’m not totally failing.
I’ll be sitting here refreshing Google Analytics, probably on the verge of tears, watching what happens.
Thanks for reading HN Community. – The nervous SEO intern who really, really needs this
