Thursday evening: Windsurf hosted their first community build night in SF. 200 developers, live demos of Wave 10 (Planning Mode, browser integration), MCP plugin architecture, real projects built in hours.<p>Friday afternoon: OpenAI acquisition canceled, CEO Varun Mohan and co-founder Douglas Chen join Google DeepMind for agentic coding initiatives. The timing is remarkable.
