W3C published a set of in-depth documents in 2013 to standardize the specification and sharing of provenance data for web resources [1]. In this context, "Provenance is information about entities, activities, and people involved in producing a piece of data or thing, which can be used to form assessments about the data or thing's quality, reliability or trustworthiness."<p>However, it doesn't seem to have been adopted virtually anywhere.
